The big vaccine storage facility is located at the 7th floor Chalerm Phrakiat building, Faculty of Tropical Medicine, Mahidol University in Bangkok Thailand. It is a secure facility that can store, manage inventory and dispense study drug/vaccine(s) in compliance with GCP and applicable US, NIAID and local guidelines and regulations. The facility also contains an emergency and backup power supply unit.
Another the clinic facility is located at 10th floor of the Hospital for Tropical Disease building has 2 nursing stations, doctor’s quarter, vaccination room, specimen collection, laboratories and a recreation area for volunteers. The clinical facility has 50 admission beds and a negative pressure room. However, this floor is used as outpatient facility as well.
